CHANGE YOUR AIM ~ CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Maryalice Coleman, Inner-Life Coach, Trainer, Author, and Seminar Leader
You are amazing! You got this far and received this bonus information. Intelligence reaches out for more information to help bring understanding and clarity in order to make life better. Your life can get better. You are smart and headed for change. The inner turmoil and pain that you have struggled with does not have to be your story. Remember this: You are NOT your past. That is an old story that keeps getting told over and over in the subconscious mind. You can begin, right now, to re-create a new story for your life. Where do you want to begin? How do you want to feel? How do you want your life to be?
I want to share some information for you to read, contemplate, and learn from in order to help you move forward in your life. It is my goal to build a wonderful supportive community one heart at time. You are part of a ground-breaking community. I welcome you and thank you for being a part of it.
C ~ Come to terms with the truth: We all have parts of our lives that are
hurting and are hidden. We find it hard to share the pain out of fear and shame. Yet,
these very issues are what keeps us mentally and emotionally chained to the inner
turmoil and the cycle continues. It is within the seminar training that we learn how to
dispel the false shame, stop self sabotaging beliefs and habits, and begin to live a
peaceful well balanced inner life. We change our aim from inner chaos toward a
balanced and successful life, from the inside out. If you so desire, write out what
you feel and what you think about. Then, understand that our feelings follow what
we think about. Can you make a connection?
H ~ Healing. It is time to take action to heal from the past. Healing takes nurturing,
caring, and loving attention to the wounded soul. How is this done? By looking
and seeing what needs to be treated. Where is the inner pain focused? Are
your thoughts and feelings producing self sabotaging behaviors? Write out how
you tend to respond in life. Is it to fall into a pit of despair and victimization? Is it
to lash out in anger? Do you become defensive? Examine the wounds in your heart,
mind and soul. Put light in those areas, the light of love and no judgment. Begin
the healing process by identifying the problem.
A ~ Awareness. Awareness is akin to enlightenment. It is that “AH HA”
moment when we see and feel the “light” go on. It is as if a light is shone
within, shines on the problem or idea that promotes understanding and helps
direct change in a positive way.
What are you aware of as you think about your life, the inner struggle that is there?
Is it hard to identify? You may have a “good” life. You may be a mother, a
business owner, a celebrity of sorts, career women, or the grocery store clerk. It does
not matter what station in life you hold. You can be successful in your career, but
your personal life is suffering and you cannot figure out why. You may wish you had
a wonderful career or be in a loving relationship and not understand why it is not
happening for you.
Awareness brings understanding to the problem. The seminar “Change Your Aim
Change Your Life” is designed to help bring awareness to certain issue, thoughts,
Behaviors that have produced depression, low self esteem, and constant self
victimization. The spiritual aspect of this work brings healing awareness to hearts,
minds and souls.
N ~ No shame! Shame is an invisible force that keeps our inner aim of success facing
downward. It creates a cycle of fear and low self esteem that keeps us emotionally
bound and gagged. The consequences of this are devastating to our lives.
It is my mission to be a “shame buster.” One of my motto’s is “Get Rid of the
Shame and Change Your Aim.” When we learn about how shame is created within
us through trauma, abuse, humiliating events, or bullying, we find that the shame has
caused more damage and in many cases, more harm than the hurtful event itself.
Once we learn how to systematically remove the invisible shame, we begin to grow
And become the person we were always meant to be, using our God given gifts and
talents to help others and to create a better life for our self. It is a new cycle of self
love, self respect, spiritual growth, enlightenment, and the positive list goes on.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to finally learn, adapt, grow and recreate the life you want?
It is not too late. Write down moments of feeling embarrassed or ashamed for know
reason, or times when others “tried” to make you feel that way. Was there a real
reason to feel that way? Is it true?
G ~ Guard your heart, soul and mind. What does this mean? It means reading this is
helping you become the protector of your heat, soul and mind. Helping yourself
by reading, learning, counseling, attending personal growth seminars, etc,
helps heal strengthens who you are. Guarding your heart, soul and mind begins
when we decide to stop being negative and cynical by being aware of negative talk
that we use against ourselves and others. Guarding our selves is when we do not
believe or accept the toxic words or action of others. We deserve much better. We
need to get to the root belief that we are wonderful beautiful people who are valued
and loved by God, others, and very importantly, ourselves. When we guard our
heart, soul, and mind, our inner aim begins to strengthen. Our inner aim starts to
align with our dreams and goals and life automatically heads upward. When we
stay focused on being positive. I do not mean “Pollyanna-ish” because that would
deny the sadness in times of loss and grief. I do mean that it is essential for us to
focus and use our energy on using uplifting, positive and encouraging language. If
you have not read or studied it, you would be surprised how deeply we are impacted
by language. In doing so you are guarding your heart, soul and mind, and that of
others as well.
E ~ Engage in the process of change. It is important to make that decision and not turn
back to the stagnant ways of mediocrity. When you engage in the process of
personal growth and development you will find your inner life more balanced and
inner aim more effective to bring you the joy you deserve. It is a process and takes
practice and patience (the three P’s). Be kind to yourself and others. While engaging
and taking part in your life for better, always asked to be guided by God (or however
you refer to the Divine Source). Awareness comes from God.
